Outreach: Olathe Family in Need

Through a mutual friend, we were made aware of this unfortunate accident/medial situation that occurred on 11/5.

As some of you may or may not be aware, on Saturday, November 5th, a player on our MAVS KC 12-1 team was involved in a horrific car accident in Olathe, KS. Rissie Evans has been in the PICU at Children’s Mercy Hospital since this weekend. Rissie is improving daily, but we ask for prayers and happy, healing thoughts for her and her family. We are collecting cards and well-wishes for Rissie at the MAVS KC location if you/your athlete would be interested in sending some MAVS love her way.

We also have set up a GoFundMe account for Rissie's family to help cover medical costs. If you would like to assist with their financial burden, any donation through GoFundMe would be greatly appreciated. All funds raised go directly to Rissie's family to help cover the medical costs and alleviate any financial strain at this time.
